She held this job for almost 3 years when she met Walter Hoeinghaus at Fest Hall in San Antonio. Walter was serving in the US Army. He was discharged in April 1940. After his discharge he enrolled in aircraft training in San Diego, California. Alma and Walter lived in San Diego for one year and eighteen months where he was employed at Consolidated Aircraft. Note*ROBERT JOSEPH “R.J. or BOB” HEINRICH. Beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on December 11, 2000, at the age of 74. He was born in High Hill, Texas, to Emil and Agnes Heinrich on May 18, 1926. He was preceded in death by both parents, his brothers Alfons and Norbert Heinrich; his first wife Carol Fritsch Heinrich, a daughter Sondra Gaye Heinrich and a son Robert Marion Heinrich. As a young man, Bob moved to Houston, Texas to make a better life for himself and his family. He lived in the Houston area for many years and became quite the entrepreneur. Bob was the owner and founder of Precision Hydraulic Co., Inc., which was the first hydraulic service company in the area. He was a successful businessman for many years until his retirement. At the time of his retirement, he decided to move back home to be closer to his family, and lived in the Weimar/Columbus area for number of years. Bob and his wife, Janice had recently moved to Redding, California. He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Janice, and children, Cheryl Heinrich Cummings, her husband Frank and their children, Troy, Geoffory and Meghan Cummings, all of Stafford, Texas; Michelle Renee Heinrich of Houston, Texas; Reeda J. His very special four-legged friend, “Punky”, will also sorely miss him. Bob was a very special man, with a deep faith in God and a great love for all of his extended family. He was always ready with a short story or a good joke and his smile was so contagious, he had everyone smiling. His passing will leave a big void in all of our lives, and he will always have a special place in our hearts.
