| Note* | Alladin Hussein came to the United States from Karachi, Pakistan at the age of 17, to go to college. He went to Cooke County Jr. College in Gainesville. In 1975 he married Sheila Graham, a native from Gainesville. They went to Odessa, Tx. where Alladin received his Industrial Engineering Degree. He became owner/manager of Sambo's Restaurant. He later opened about 15 Pizza Inns, he sold them and went into the motel business. After owning Best Westerns, Holiday Inns, Ramada Inns, he decided to build his own. He built about 17 Great Western Inns, all in Texas (West Texas and Dallas / Ft. Worth area.) Usually after running the hotel and getting the business going (about 9 months) he would sell the hotels. His latest adventure was going into the Convenience Store / Gas Services Business with Mobil Oil. | |
