| Note* | Rudolph Gold was the second son of Edward and Tekla Heinrich Gold. He was born on November 26, 1883 and married Amalia Ulbrich on October 29, 1912. They had seven children. They made their home thr ee miles north of Weimar on a 89 acre farm which they lost in 1932 due to the depression. Then they moved to Columbus for one year, to Louise for two years, to Ganado for one year to Eldridge (near E agle Lake) for two years, and to Bonus (also near Eagle Lake) for six years. In 1944 they purchased another farm of 60 acres near Nada. Rudolph suffered a stroke in 1951 and was an invalid until his death on August 8, 1953 at age 69. Amalia continued to live on the farm until two weeks before here 80th birthday. She died on August 11, 1974. They are buried in the Nada Catholic Cemetery. | |
